Peter began his public accounting career with Deloitte & Touche in 1993. From 1997 through 2002, he worked as a tax manager with Arthur Andersen. He joined the firm in July 2002.

During his 15 years plus of public accounting, Peter's responsibilities included a wide variety of consulting and compliance services for his clients. Peter regularly works with C-Corporations, S-Corporations, LLCs, partnerships, trusts and estates, and individual tax returns. His background covers a wide variety of industries, including, professional services, retail/wholesale, real estate, and manufacturing. Peter has also provided services in many of the tax disciplines, including M&A, financial accounting, employee benefits, payroll taxation, sales & use taxation, income and franchise taxation, consolidated returns, and family wealth planning.

Currently, Peter works extensively with closely held businesses and their owners.
